I got this product I live in so. fl. and the power keeps shutting off and on,and keeps messing up my DVR cable box.and they said the battery lasts up to 5 hours.after I received it,the instructions said they did not plug in the battery packs you have to take the front apart, they put star screws, you need a star screwdriver.I took apart the 3 screws the last one was totally stripped and could not get it out [...]So I took apart the top which was all black and then they painted a wiring diagram in white all over the top to show you where all the parts are. Why didnt they put it on the back of the panel so you do not see it.After removing the panel I pried open the front panel enough that i can plug the 2 wires together(that should have been already put together)the inside parts look like they are very heavy duty parts made very well, there is 4 big battery packs inside.I got this this machine because they said the battery lasts for 5 hours, not entirely true. The specifications in manual for battery runtime is @ 50w battery lasts for 320 min. @ 125w lasts 109 min. 450w lasts 34 min.and 600w lasts 20 min.I just have my cable box and a small digital clock on its @36w if I turn on my 52 inch lcd TV its @252w if I put my stereo on also it pulls 360w (not quite 5 hours)When I put on my TV a small fan comes on in the back,it does have a mild hum noise to it(sounds like the fan on my big computer)it does shut off when you shut the TV off.I had a power failure a couple of times it did work very well,it kept my TV,cable box and digital clock on with out reseting anything. I hope this review helps you.
