Signature Series Pro 5100 Professional PowerCenter™ Featuring Patented Monster® Clean Power™ Stage 4 v.2.0 with Five Separate Isolation Filter Sections, Exclusive T2™ Automatic Shutdown Circuitry, and Surge Protection for Superior Home Theater Performance

Superior Performance, Custom Installer Ease and a Bold New Look with Monster True Blue™ Displays Make Signature Pro 5100 The Choice of Professionals
Featuring new True Blue LED readouts offering a bold new look, the Signature Pro power products are way over the top, says The Head Monster, Noel Lee, who signs each. The Signature Series is Noel Lee's own personal statement on the superior look and performance of Monster Power®.

For the convenience of custom installers, the Signature Pro 5100 also offers front and rear panel illumination, color coded outlets, rear panel digital volt and amp meter display and indicator lights, surge protected phone and Ethernet jacks (since most digital video recorders and/or satellite-TV boxes require an Internet connection), and more.

Without Clean, Balanced Power, Home Theater Systems Can’t Deliver Peak Performance
The current that comes from wall outlets is inherently imbalanced, causing high-frequency oscillations that get picked up by a sensitive home theater system in the form of performance-robbing hum, buzz, and static. And while filtering radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) interference can remove much of the hum, buzz, and static from the system, only a power center with perfectly balanced power can fully remove interference for the best possible picture and sound from the home theatre system.

Signature Pro 5100 Provides Clean, Balanced Power for the Best Possible Home Theater Performance
Signature Pro 5100 is equipped with Monster Power Clean Power Stage 4 v.2.0 circuitry. Clean Power Stage 4 uses five advanced isolated filters to provide further rejection of the electromechanical and radio frequency interference present in your AC power lines, as well as your home theater components. These include two digital filters, analog audio and video filters, and a high-current audio filter. By using optimized filters for each application, Signature Pro 5100 is able to minimize the types of interference that affect each individual application for ultimate interference rejection.

Microprocessor-Controlled Sequenced Switching and High-Capacity Surge Protection Ensure Superior Safety for Expensive Home Theater System Components
Signature Pro 5100 features intelligent microprocessor-controlled turn-on sequencing to protect components from damage that may occur when components are powered on in an incorrect sequence.

The Signature Pro 5100 also provides superior surge/spike protection for your home theater system with a surge/spike capacity of 6814 Joules, a very high capacity available through professional-grade power conditioners.

In addition to 10 surge-protected rear panel AC outlets, the Signature Pro 5100 has 3 surge-protected high-performance (2.5-GHz bandwidth) coaxial connectors to protect cable-TV, satellite-TV, and DTV antenna lines, and RJ11 phone, and RJ45 network protection connections.

The Signature Pro 5100 offers a $500,000 connected equipment warranty for repair or replacement of connected components damaged from surges and spikes that occur when properly connected to Signature Pro 5100.

Enjoy Monsterous Home Theater Performance
For superior performance, protection, and power conditioning for a professionally installed home theater system, choose the Monster Signature Pro 5100.

 SAFETY TIPS

Important Monster® Performance and Safety Tips
Listen Responsibly

To avoid hearing damage, make sure that the volume on your music player is turned down before connecting your headphones. After placing headphones in your ears, gradually turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

Noise levels are measured in decibels (dB), exposure to any noise at or above 85 dB can cause gradual hearing loss.

Monitor your use; hearing loss is a function of loudness versus time. The louder it is, the less time you can be exposed to it. The softer it is, the more time you can listen to it. Refer to the chart* below.

This decibel (dB) table compares some common sounds and shows how they rank in potential harm to hearing.
SoundNoise Level (dB)Effect
Whisper30Very quiet
Quiet Office50-60Comfortable hearing levels are under 60 dB
Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer70Intrusive; interferes with telephone conversations
Food Blender85-9085 dB is the level at which hearing damage (8 hrs.) begins
Garbage Truck, Cement Mixer100No more than 15 minutes of unprotected exposure recommended for sounds between 90-100 dB
Power Saw, Drill/Jackhammer110Regular exposure to sound over 100 dB of more than 1 minute risks permanent hearing loss
Rock Concerts (varies)110-140Threshold of pain begins around 125dB
"....a typical person can safely listen to an iPod for 4.6 hours per day at 70% volume."
"....knowing the levels one is listening to music at, and for how long is extremely important."
From http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2006/10/19/music-earphones.html
Get the most out of your equipment and enjoy great audio performance even at safe levels.
Our headphones will allow you to hear more details at lower volume levels than ever before.

Use Responsibly

Do not use headphones when it's unsafe to do so - while operating a vehicle, crossing streets, or during any activity or in an environment where your full attention to your surroundings is required.

It's dangerous to drive while wearing headphones, and in many places, illegal because it decreases your chances of hearing life-saving sounds outside of your vehicle, such as another car's horn and emergency vehicle sirens.

Please avoid wearing your headphones while driving. Use one of Monster's FM transmitters to listen to your mobile media devices instead.

Learn how to establish a safe listening level and review other important safety guidelines from the Consumer Electronics Association at www.ce.org and the Deafness Research Foundation at www.drf.org.
